One of the rewards of our ten years serving as mission partners in Ghana was the Nyame Bekyere Christian School. Last year when I visited, I was moved to focus on the the girls. The girls pictured are pupils at our school. The reality is that for many girls like these this may be the end of their education journey. Some will become teenage mothers, others will end up in dead end relationships, others will continue in a cycle of poverty. I can't help every girl but I know I can make a difference to some. I will travel to Ghana in June, where I will continue the program which challenges 10, 11 and 12 year old girls Dream Big. Interested in partnering with me to make a difference? “Today, as Secretary-General of the United Nations, I see one overwhelming injustice across the globe; an abuse that is crying out for attention.  That is gender inequality and discrimination against women and girls…Just as slavery and colonialism were a stain on previous centuries, women’s inequality should shame us all in the twenty-first.  Because it is not only unacceptable; it is stupid...
